Wright Outdoor Solutions may be a new company, but we were formed from two companies with landscape and plant care experience unmatched in the region—Wright Tree Care and Heard Gardens, Ltd. Wright Tree Care had been in business for over 70 years, and Heard Gardens, Ltd. had been landscaping Central Iowa since 1928. Together, the two companies live for everything in your landscape.

Design and Installation

Complete Tree Care
For over 70 years, taking care of trees and tree problems was our only business. We continue to have more arborists on staff than any other landscape or tree service in the area and are the only TCIA accredited company in the state. Our arborists are trained to spot problems, whether it's disease or insect infested trees, dead or weak limbs, or branches that interfere with wires, gutters, or chimneys. We are experts in pruning trees to improve their shape and overall health. And we can remove trees and their stumps if circumstances dictate this action.

The Garden Center at The Heard Gardens
Clyde Heard began his nursery and landscaping business in Des Moines, Iowa in 1926. But his reputation grew nationally as he became a trusted source for rare and unusual lilacs and flowering crabapples. Bob Rennebohm, a registered Landscape Architect, purchased Heard Gardens, Ltd. in 1991 from Clyde’s son, Bill. Ten years later, Bob moved Heard Gardens to its current location on 35 acres along the Raccoon River and Sugar Creek. This beautiful facility features design studios, demonstration gardens, a picturesque garden center and large nursery. |
