Wright Outdoor Solutions is currently looking for qualified, motivated and dependable candidates to fill the following positions:
Associate Landscape Designer
The Associate Landscape Designer supports Landscape Designer(s) with all aspects of the design-build process to ensure a high-quality, timely experience with clients.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Degree in landscape architecture, landscape design or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years related experience with professional design-build company
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
- Proficient with drafting software (DynaSCAPE or CAD)
- Experience with SketchUp preferred
- Understands landscape construction products, procedures and techniques
- Available to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonality of the industry
- Able to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and achieve client-oriented results
- Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management and record keeping skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

Landscape Designer
The Landscape Designer is responsible for providing outstanding landscape design and sales services to our residential clients.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Degree in landscape architecture, landscape design or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in high-end residential design and construction preferred
- Proficient with DynaScape or AutoCad, Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Understands landscape plant materials for Midwest region and construction products, procedures and techniques
- Available to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonality of the industry
- Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management and record keeping skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to succeed both as a team member and a team leader

Sales Representative
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving the sales of our tree care, plant health care, enhancement (personal gardening) and lawn care services.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Degree in horticulture or turf management, or:
- Certification with the International Society of Arboriculture, Iowa Certified Nursery Professional or Iowa Professional Lawn Care Association preferred
- Must have superior communication and customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Must be disciplined and focused

Tree Care Foreman
The Tree Care Foreman is responsible for training, managing and motivating members of their tree care crew.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Must be an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist, or willing to obtain certification within first year of employment
- Ability to safely and properly climb trees with ropes and saddle
- Ability to operate and maintain a bucket truck and tree chipper
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must possess a strong work ethic
- Available to work weekends, if necessary
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record

Tree Care Groundman
The Tree Care Groundman reports to the Tree Care Foreman, and is responsible for dragging brush, feeding brush into the tree chipper, and cleaning up debris from pruning and removal jobs.

- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must possess a strong work ethic
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Available to work weekends, if necessary

Spray Technician/Chemical Applicator
The Spray Technician/Chemical Applicator is responsible for spraying and injecting trees and shrubs.
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Ability to identify tree and shrub species
- Must have or be able to obtain state pesticide applicator's license within first 30 days of employment
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must possess a strong work ethic
- Available to work Saturdays, if necessary
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
