You deserve to enjoy your time outside during the warmer months, without worrying about the hassle of insect infestations. Pests like mosquitoes, fleas, and ticks can reproduce rapidly and take peacefulness out of your outdoor living space. Beetles, worms, ants, and other pesky insects and mites are more than just nuisances; they can attract moles and other rodents to your property, threatening your lawn’s aesthetic and health. Wright Outdoor Solutions can help; our lawn care professionals will assess your lawn for insect or pest infestations, search for signs of damage, and make recommendations for preventive and counteracting treatments.
Mosquitoes are attracted to even the smallest amounts of standing water on your property, such as ponds, birdbath, or clogged gutters. A recently irrigated lawn may also draw in mosquitoes due to the increased amount of moisture. Female mosquitoes are capable of laying eggs every three days and in turn producing up to 200 mosquitoes. These pests aren’t just annoying, but also some of the most dangerous in North America as they are transmitters of West Nile, Zika, and other harmful viruses.
Fleas and ticks are persistent and potentially dangerous for both your family and your pets. Did you know even the healthiest lawn can harbor a significant number of fleas and ticks? Even if pets avoid the bites, they could still carry them into your home. Don’t let these pests hitchhike their way inside; keep them outdoors where they belong. If you have pets or children, keep them safe by treating your lawn with our flea and tick control. The program will help reduce the population of active pests and their eggs, therefore, decreasing the number that can infest your home.
Flea and tick activity begins as early as April and continues throughout the spring and summer months. Treatment is available at any time throughout the year, but we recommend scheduling an application in May with a follow-up application in July or August for the best results. Protect your lawn and family with a flea and tick lawn application.
The foundation of your home is an ideal environment for insects and other pests to nest. Once these pests have established themselves around the foundation, they may be able to make their way inside.
To reduce the potential of a pest invasion, Wright Outdoor Solutions uses a contact residual spray to keep populations low throughout the growing season. The insecticide controls 75 different pests, including spiders, mosquitoes, cockroaches, ticks, fleas, pillbugs, chinch bugs, earwigs, millipedes, and termites.
Take advantage of a tried-and-tested control process that includes three applications in June, July, and August, typically 30 days apart. A barrier of insecticide is applied four feet from the base of the foundation out into the yard. Any shrubs, flowers and other garden areas that lie within the application radius will be covered. Our applications are safe and can be applied without any harmful effects to the surrounding environment, including your plant materials, pets, and home.
Do you have an outdoor party or event coming up? Keep your guests pest free! Consider a one-time targeted pest control application in other areas. This control significantly reduces mosquito populations by as much as 80% for a 24 to 48-hour period. We can apply a contact residual spray around or on your turf or patio.
When the weather is nice, you should be able to comfortably and peacefully enjoy the outdoors. Pests and mosquitoes not only leave you swatting and scratching but can also cause you to tip-toe through your house.
