Dreams of a cozy, private gathering space came to life in this residential patio and landscape design. Priority was placed on creating a safe and cohesively designed environment for grandchildren, family, friends and pets to play, relax, and enjoy evenings near the fire. Complete with an immaculate fireplace, ample seating, log storage and lush plant life, this timeless and functional space will be enjoyed in the company of loved ones for years to come.

The reconditioned flagstone pathway with an arbor entry planted of climbing roses greets guests at the front drive and winds along the home to the backyard where shades of Beechwood are found in the patio’s Lakeland wall stone, Mezzano pavers, and Belgard Victorian fireplace. For contrast to the earth tones, Silver Creek Indiana Limestone wall caps set off the design with a pop white. Special attention was paid to selecting rabbit tolerant plant species including butterfly bush, a variety of herbs and ornamental grasses.
