Come out to the Wright Outdoor Solutions Garden Center on Saturday, June 2 to mingle with some special friends. The Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) will be here for stories and the opportunity to meet some of their adorable pets. TheraPets will be at the Garden Center for a special story reading at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. as well. Adoptable pets will be on site from 12 – 3 p.m. to meet and interact with. If interested in adopting an available pet, please note all adoptions will take place at the ARL’s main office. The ARL team will be happy to assist you with this process.
Founded in 1926, the ARL is Iowa’s largest nonprofit animal shelter, caring for thousands of pets each year. Through their various programs, the ARL offers pet adoption, humane education, pet behavior training, spay/neuter, animal cruelty intervention and more.
