Operations Team

Landscape Supervisor Justin German joined the team in 2023 with more than 20 years of experience. He has worked in various roles, including arbor crew leader, seasonal services crew leader and irrigation technician.

He is a certified hardscape professional and concrete paver installer, and has his segmental retaining wall and backflow certifications. Justin has worked on various projects such as golf course turf management, patios, walkways, waterscapes, water features, drainage, land development, grading, landscape design, pruning, horticulture and more.

Things that excite him most about the job include:

• A properly installed landscape derived from years of trial, error, research and innovation
• Proper drainage design and the look on a family’s faces upon completion, following proper engineering methods of each install
• Efficiency, planning and design concepts
• Proper plant placement within the landscape. Choosing the right plant for its right place in the landscape.

Justin loves being part of an employee-owned company and having the freedom to be the best version of himself at his job. He enjoys being able to give back to the community, such as volunteering at the Blank Children’s Hospital Festival of Trees and Lights with tree delivery at the conclusion of the event.

His favorite tree is the Eastern redbud (Cercis canadensis). When he’s not working, he’s often fishing, camping, biking, hiking, identifying plants, or spending time with family and friends.
