Victoria Capece

Account Manager - Kansas City

Meet Victoria Capece, a Kansas City-based account manager who joined the team in April 2026. With seven years of experience in the green industry, Victoria brings a science-based approach to horticulture, a sharp eye for plant performance and a strong commitment to client service.

Victoria’s path into the green industry began with a moment of discovery in the Rocky Mountains, where alpine meadows in bloom sparked a lasting fascination with plants and the landscapes they shape. That curiosity followed her through all her life transitions, deepening as she learned to identify plants on mountain hikes and later evolved into a full-blown passion for tropical plants while living in Detroit.

What started as a personal interest quickly became a career. Victoria began working at a greenhouse known for its extensive tropical plant selection and went on to build experience across plant sales, production, landscape maintenance, fine gardening and seasonal color installations. Along the way, she developed a deeper appreciation not only for how to grow and care for plants, but also for the science behind plant performance, soils and ecosystem interactions.

In her role as account manager, Victoria combines practical horticultural expertise with strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills. She enjoys helping clients achieve healthy, sustainable, and visually impactful landscapes, and she especially values building long-term relationships grounded in trust, collaboration and thoughtful recommendations.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys traveling, exploring nature, watching films, spending time at the beach with loved ones and spoiling her black cat, Ralph. Her favorite tree is the aspen for its striking beauty in every season and the unforgettable experience of standing in a grove of them.

Victoria holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Denver, earned the MSU Extension Master Gardener Certificate in Michigan, and is currently pursuing an A.S. in Horticulture from Johnson County Community College.
