Employee Spotlight: Dennis Wilson

Originally from Kirksville, Missouri, Dennis made his way to the Des Moines area during his tenure with Hy-Vee. He always had a passion for plants and decided to dive into that passion in 2010 when he started as a part-time associate at another landscaping and outdoor service company in the Des Moines metro area. The part-time role turned into a management position where he learned the ins and outs of the industry. Since then, his passion for plants and the outdoors has continued to grow. Dennis joined the Wright Outdoor Solutions team in August 2015 as an account manager.

He is known for his unique and vibrant seasonal container designs and enjoys letting his creative spirit roam, putting together unique items for an eye-catching piece. To clients, Dennis is a creative resource who is easy to work with, passionate and understanding; he feels strongly about taking care of customers and putting a smile on their face.

Having lived in Mexico for a few years, Dennis developed a passion for all things tropical after being exposed to so many plants living in their native surroundings. Orchids, in particular, are a true favorite. He owns several and is always working to get them to rebloom.
