Operations Team

Jim Altwegg’s lifelong love of nature led him to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture from Iowa State University and study abroad in Australia at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Jim spent the last 30 years of his landscape career in Las Vegas, Nevada where he specialized in the construction of large commercial landscape projects, including many notable casino resort properties on the Las Vegas strip and served on the board of directors of the Nevada Landscape Association. Jim has continued to grow his knowledge of the field, becoming an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist, gaining his Iowa Irrigation Auditor certification and TCEQ Landscape Irrigator license.

Jim joined Wright Outdoor Solutions as the landscape operations manager in 2019 and enjoys his daily opportunity to be part of a passionate team and successfully creating and enhancing the outdoor spaces where we live. When not at work you can find Jim traveling – camping and fishing as he goes.
