Meet Our Staff

Growing up on a dairy farm in eastern Iowa, Andrew discovered early on that he preferred plants over livestock. Helping with his family’s gardening sparked an interest that eventually led him to earn a horticulture degree from Iowa State University. After time in the perennial world and later with a tree care company in Saint Paul, Minnesota, he knew the tree industry was where he belonged. He values work that requires skill, focus, and a touch of artistry, something that reminds him of his roots.

Andrew is known for being genuine and direct, qualities that help him build trust with clients and the team. He’s also an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and a two‑time recipient of Wright Outdoor Solutions’ Customer Service Recognition Award. A self‑described “quality guy,” he believes that if something isn’t done right, it simply isn’t done.

Outside of work, Andrew keeps things simple and you can find him drifting off in his flower beds at home. Fun fact: he has an identical twin and also has identical twin boys. He loves any healthy tree, but white oaks are one of his favorites to look at; however, they are also his least favorite to work on.
