Meet Our Staff

Ross holds a forestry degree from Iowa State University and a natural resources management degree from Hawkeye Community College. He also brings five years of sales experience. Ross maintains hands-on field skills, including tree climbing, operating aerial lifts and machinery, and has an extensive understanding in tree identification. He is also a member of the Iowa Arborist Association.

Ross values strong client relationships and takes pride in helping customers understand the unique needs of their trees. He enjoys the variety his work brings, noting that no two trees, or two projects, are ever the same.

Among his favorite trees is the hackberry, appreciated for its warty bark and the excellent shade it provides. A highlight of his career includes discovering the third-largest river birch in Iowa, located near Homestead, found on Iowa’s Big Tree list.

Outside of work, Ross enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
